Documents from Malaysia that you may show me for quotation and on-the-spot translation include Identity Card, birth certificate, adoption certificate, Form W, marriage certificate (For Muslims & Non-Muslims), divorce certificate/paper(For Muslims & Non-Muslims), confirmation of citizenship status, academic certificates –UPSR, PMR, SPM, STPM; Police Reports –in relation to loss of passports etc., financial documents – bank passbook, EPF statement, EA Form, tax return, company and business registration certificate, trademark(Chinese/Japanese characters), etc. Remember to state the purpose and make sure you know the requirements stipulated by the respective processing authorities. In cases where a legalization procedure applies and you are required to submit the documents to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, remember to get an additional stamp at the Secretariat of Malaysian Translators Association (or seek an additional quotation for this service of getting the document stamped at the Secretariat of Malaysian Translators Association).

An English Translation completed by CHEOK TEK HUAT / CHEOK TRANSLATION CENTRE may be used in many ways in relation to education, employment, marriage etc. In the case of UK visa application, you may use it for submission to any UK Visa Application Centre/British High Commission in any part of the world, or for submission to UK Border Agency in UK.

Certified Translation For Use in Australia

An English Translation completed by CHEOK TEK HUAT / CHEOK TRANSLATION CENTRE may be used for application in relation to university placement, immigration visa, Australian citizenship , marriage, bank loan, trade qualifications and skills assessment, company registration, opening of corporate bank account etc. In cases where a legal witness is required, clients shall have the relevant pages stamped as certified true copies. Supporting documents in relation to application for tax file number for non-residents of Australia must be stamped by the Consular, Australian High Commission in all pages.

Certified Translation For Use in Canada

You may obtain translation service from CHEOK TEK HUAT / CHEOK TRANSLATION CENTRE for submission to Canada Visa Application Centre, Canada universities, or for use in Canada. For Permanent Resident visa application, an Affidavit of Translator may be prepared in the case an affidavit from the person who completed the translation is required. Clients may then see a Commissioner for oaths/ Notary Public nearby to complete the procedure.

Certified Translation For Use in India

You may obtain translation service from CHEOK TEK HUAT / CHEOK TRANSLATION CENTRE

in relation to application for Overseas Citizenship Of India (OCI) card, processing of Indian Maid visa, etc., for direct submission to High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur. As for attestation of legal documents, a legalization procedure applies if it involves a Malaysian citizen. Clients will need to find out the correct procedure before proceeding with the translation.

Certified Translation For Use in Hong Kong

Guidebook for Entry for Visit/Transit in Hong Kong : Where a document is not in Chinese or English, it must be accompanied by a Chinese or English translation certified as a true translation by a sworn translator, court translator, authorised public translator, certified translator, expert translator or official translator.

Certified Translation For Use in Macao

A Malaysian passport holder may enter/stay in Macao as a visitor up to 30 days. Visas may be applied for upon arrival at the Immigration counter. For translation of supporting documents, English is acceptable although Chinese and Portuguese are the official languages.

Certified Translation For Use in China

If a legalization procedure applies, you may see CHEOK TEK HUAT for translation, get it endorsed by the Secretary of Malaysian Translators Association representing Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, followed by Wisma Putra in Putrajaya and Embassy of China in Kuala Lumpur. If a legalization procedure does not apply, you may skip part of the procedure as instructed by your processing authority in China.

If a legalization procedure applies, you may see CHEOK TEK HUAT for translation, get it endorsed by the Secretary of Malaysian Translators Association representing Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, followed by Wisma Putra in Putrajaya and the Dutch Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. If you are submitting a birth certificate, make sure it is an extract dated not longer than 6 months by National Registration Department of Malaysia. Both the original and translation versions must be stamped by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia before you submit to the Dutch Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

Certified Translation For Use in the Philippines

In cases where direct submission of translation completed by a member of Malaysian Translators Association is acceptable to the Philippines Embassy, you may find that my service comes handy.

Certified Translation For Use by Pesticide Board of Malaysia

Translation endorsement may be obtained from CHEOK TEK HUAT (and the Malaysian Translators Association) when a company submits an advertisement in Chinese, a language other than Bahasa Malaysia/English, in their application for a pesticide advertisement permit.

Certified Translation For Use by MM2H Centre, Ministry of Tourism Malaysia

An English Translation completed by CHEOK TEK HUAT / CHEOK TRANSLATION CENTRE may be used as Certified Translation of supporting documents (for instance, payslips and a latest 3 months’ bank statement to indicate the financial capability to support stay in Malaysia, marriage certificate if accompanied by spouse and birth certificates if accompanied by children ) for a MM2H Social Visit Pass /visa application.
